Poster Guidelines, Judging Criteria & Awards:

1) Guidelines:

a)      Each poster presenter will have 10 minutes to present their poster, at a
scheduled time during the conference.
b)     You must be registered for the conference in order to present a poster.
c)      Acceptable formats are PowerPoint, Prezi, Slidecast, Visme, Powtoon.
d)     The poster submission deadline is August 25, 2022. Email to Dr. Larry G. Baratta

2) Judging Criteria:

The judging criteria is based on three areas. A) Content B) Relevance C) Oral Presentation

 A)     Content- (33 points)
Poster content includes the following.
–Title
–Presenter’s name
–Introduction
–Objective(s)
–Summary or Conclusions
–Effective use of graphics, color, and fonts
–Acknowledgments
–References

B)     Relevance- (33 points)
The topic must be relevant to the “Match 2023”.

C)     Oral Presentation- (34 points)
The oral presentation criteria are based on the following.
–Concise
–Clear
–Articulate
–Synoptic
–Non-verbatim
–Articulate
–Proper elocution
–Proper enunciation
–Non-verbose
–Non-loquacious

Policies and Procedures:

• The Cibnp conference is an International event, therefore, professional attire must be maintained during the conference  • The fee submitted is non-refundable • If you could not attend the conference due to technical issues such as internet or computer malfunction, you will get the credit for the next CiBNP Conference.  • During the conference all participants must be live on camera • Checking your microphone, camera, and internet connection is your responsibility  • Every participant must download Zoom app on their computers and cellphones to attend the conference. Your cellphone will serve as a backup in case you lose your internet or there is computer damage of any kind.  • Any participant who has any questions during someone’s presentation must type a message to inform the moderator such as hand raise icon 🖐  • All other participants will remain muted during the presentations except the speaker • There must be no distractions in your background • All participants must maintain professional demeanor and attitude. • Any participants who misbehaves in anyway will immediately be expelled from the conference and will be banned from attending future conferences  • All participants must greet the conference chair and other participants when given an opportunity to speak • Posters must be shared on the screen while giving oral presentation  • CiBNP reserves the right to reject any poster publications • Award distribution is subject to availability • One poster can only have 2 authors •Only first author will present the poster •The poster will be published in the next 7 working days in the Journal for International Medical Graduates (JIMGS) •The poster can not be published anywhere else once it’s published in JIMGS
