Course Objectives
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental concepts of research and its role in academic and clinical fields.
- Learn the different types of research designs (observational, experimental, clinical, in vitro, and animal studies) and when to apply each.
- Develop knowledge of research methodology, including planning, sampling, data collection, and ethical considerations.
- Acquire skills in statistical analysis and interpretation using modern software tools such as SPSS and RevMan.
- Understand the structure and process of scientific writing, including how to organize and prepare manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals.
- Learn to evaluate journals, differentiate credible journals from predatory ones, and navigate the submission and peer-review process.
- Explore the applications, benefits, and limitations of Artificial Intelligence in research, along with ethical considerations.
- Become familiar with emerging research technologies such as quantum computing and their potential impact on research.
- Apply learning in practice by developing and writing a real research project or article under expert mentorship.
