Dr. Baratta is an international wound care consultant, speaker and a published author of articles and textbooks in medicine. He teaches physicians and surgeons on the best practices of wound care through the Middle East, Asia and the Caribbean using the “Total Wound Care Solution System” which, effectively manages all wound etiologies, especially with patients who present with extensive co-morbidities. Dr. Baratta is a proponent of the “Save A Leg, Save A Life” program which promotes limb salvage.

Dr. Baratta is the dean of student affairs, chair and an ESME-certified professor of the Integrated Clinical Medicine department at St. Martinus University Faculty of Medicine in Curacao.
